Mr. Theodore William “Teddy Bear” White, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at approximately 8:00 a.m. at his residence in Lima.

He was born in Lima, Ohio on August 4, 1939 to the union of Donald R. and Florence Ann Elizabeth (Towsey) White.

On September 27, 2003 he was united in holy matrimony to Constance J. Banks who preceded him in death on November 21, 2015. 

Mr. White retired from Buckeye Rubber after many years of service.  Mr. White had a rare blood type along with only 3 other people in the United States, his blood donations for the Allen County Red Cross saved the life of a woman in the Netherlands.  He faithfully collected his cans, when he wasn’t fishing  and was a member of Bass Masters.  To know him was to love him, “Teddy Bear” was very creative, he always made unique items and entered them in the Allen County Faire where he was a WINNER!!!  He truly loved his dogs.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 3 daughters; Toionda M. Alexander-Banks and Nikia M. Dennis (Michael) both of Lima.  YaSchica M. Secession of Findlay, Ohio.  A God sister; Diane Simpson of Lima.  7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  A brother; Richard L. White of Columbus Grove, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Donald E. White, Ronald K. White and Timothy N. White.

Home Going Services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Minister Victor Watts, officiating
