Tamiko Ann Turks, known to family and friends as Mickey, was born on March 26th 1982 in Lima Ohio, to Glenn White Sr (Darlene) and Bertha Reeder (Ben). She attended Lima Senior High School and was a member of Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Tamiko was the life of the party and was known for her beautiful smile, vibrant personality, and caring heart.
She was loved beyond words by her husband Lloyd Turks, who she joined in holy matrimony on January 20th 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory 1 son, Lohond Turks, 4 daughters, Ambria Potts, Latoya Turks, Lexis Turks, and Lataunya “Shawna” Turks. Stepchildren Lloyd Turks Jr, Lokeemion Turks, Kiaeem Turks, Latrice Bridges, Latara Turks, Laura Hall, Lonisha Turks, Myleena “Mimi” White, and Vashon Gordon. Grandchildren A’lyrica Potts, Amiya Turks, Camden Turks, Mezekhi White, and Vy’Ale Smith. Siblings Glenn White Jr (Love’), Martrevis Brownlow-White, Christopher Brownlow, Terrence White, Joshua Reeder, LaCasha Long (Kendall), Shamica Hall, Angela White, and Chantara Fisher (Jerome). A special aunt Easter Brownlow, a special cousin Tiffany Brownlow, and a special niece Sparkles Dawson, along with a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will all miss her dearly.
On November 22, 2021, Tamiko was reconnected with her heavenly angels and welcomed into heaven by her sister Lisa White, paternal grandparents Paul and Mary White, maternal grandparents Frankie and Matthew Brownlow, aunt Johnnie Manley, uncle Cornelius Brownlow, and cousins Demond Liles and Anthony Bankston.
Home going services will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 at Grace Church Worldwide Ministries, with Rev. Bruce Monford, officiating.
Visitation/Wake will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 p.m. also at the Church.
Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery
