Mr. Randall Craig Cooper, age 73, passed from this life on Saturday, February 12, 2023. He was born on June 30, 1949 in Lima, Ohio to Joseph Franklin Cooper and Fannie Laura (Fields) Cooper. Both parents preceded him in death.
Randall attended Second Baptist Church and was a 1971 graduate of Purdue University where he received a degree in Psychology. He was a very gifted athlete and a standout football player and track hurdler at Lima Senior High. His incredible talents were recognized in 2020 as he was inducted into the Lima Senior High School Hall of Fame. He also excelled on the gridiron at Purdue University. After college he worked as a Purchasing Agent for General Dynamics for 18 years. He was a kind and loving person who will be missed by all who loved him most.
Randall leaves to cherish his precious memory his only son, Aaron C. Cooper of Carleton. MI; a sister, Robbie (Thomas) Jenkins of South Bend, IN; 2 grandchildren: Kendall L. Cooper and Amyah Cooper; his former wife, Veronica L. “Bonnie” Smith Cooper and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Cooper Jr.; a sister, Linda Holland.
