Mary Alice Holly

Mrs. Mary Alice Holly, age 68, passed from this life on Monday, January 5, 2021 at approximately 1:15 a.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born on November 23, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Louis and Readie (Wash) Tibbs; both parents preceded her in death. 

On October 14, 1972  she was united in holy matrimony to Elder John David Holly,  he survives in Lima.

Besides her loving husband she leaves to cherish her precious memory a daughter; Tamara Slaise (William) of Lima.  A grandson she helped raise; Rashad Holly (Sparkle) of Delphos.  5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  2 brothers; Leron Tibbs (Bessie) of Akron, OH and Jimmy L. Tibbs of Lima.  3 sisters; Bobbie Jean Jones (Ozzie) of Mansfield, OH, Carolyn Jackson of Lima and Teresa Ward of Detroit, MI.  2 special aunts; Clotie Rankin of Jackson, MS and Betty Hill of Pittsburg, CA.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by a brother; Elder Edward Tibbs and a sister; Katie Jordan.

Home going services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Church of God in Christ with Elder Damian Tibbs, officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.  until time of services at 12:00 p.m. also at the Church.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
