LaToya DuShay Long

LaToya DuShay Long, age 38, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023. She was born on November 9, 1984, in Lima, Ohio to Leroy Long and Earlene Alberta Foster. Her father preceded her in death.

LaToya was a very talented artist who loved to do nails and hair. She was a people person who loved making everyone around her laugh. Her sense of humor, talents and overall presence will be truly missed by all who loved her most.

LaToya leaves to cherish her precious memory a loving mother, Earlene A. Foster of Lima, OH; 2 sons: JaQuavan Shaw and Tylon Copeland both of Lima, OH; 3 daughters: D’aunjanai Long, Ma’Kya Long and G’Naya Secession all of Lima, OH; 2 Grandchildren: Jar’Marion Luster and LaQuint Luster III, 4 brothers: Dedric Foster of PA, Stanton (Shanitha) Burse of Ft. Wayne, IN, Leroy Foster of Lima, OH and Earl Foster III of Ft. Wayne IN; 4 sisters: Sharreta (Robert) Owens, Nikia (Michael) Dennis, Toionda Banks, all of Lima, OH, and YaSchica Secession of Houston.  Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, D’Aunsty C. Long; paternal grandparents: Earl E. Foster and Lovella S. Foster; and maternal grandparents: Henry Long Sr. and Hattie Nance.

Home Going Services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at In Faith Ministries with Rev. Michael Lyons Officiating, Dr. Rozell Foster Sr. providing the Eulogy.

Visitation/Wake services will be held at the church on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
