Joann Frances Drewry

Joann Frances Drewry, age 79, passed away on November 16, 2021 at 2:50 p.m. in Columbus at her son’s residence.

 She was born on November 4, 1942 to Booker and Margaret (Oglesbee) Drewry who both proceeded her death as well as her sister Georgette Drewry.  

Joann was a graduate of 1960 Lima Senior and attended Ohio State University.    Her primary career was at Ohio Bureau of Vocation Rehabilitation as a counselor.     Later, she was the owner of Frances Genealogy where she pursued her passion to research family history for friends and family.     Her love of animals, friends and family were very important to her.    

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son; Bryan Drewry (Erica) of Columbus.  2 grandsons; Marshall of Memphis, TN and Isaiah of Cincinnati, OH.  A sister; Sheila Payne of New York.  Several cousins, and special friends.   

Home Going Services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
