Jerry Perkins

Mr. Jerry Perkins, age 71, passed from this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at approximately 8:35 a.m. at his residence in Lima.

He was born on August 30, 1950 in Anniston, Alabama to Rev. Wesley Satcher, Sr. and Idell Harris Perkins, both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Perkins worked as a Welder at Trinity Industries.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Jerry Perkins, Jr. (Sybil) of Oxford, AL and Jerry Moore of Detroit, MI.  2 daughters; Kimberly Boynton (Williams) of Grass Lake, MI.  and Kamikco Perkins of Blacklick, OH.  24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  5 brothers; Frank Perkins (Bonnie), Leander Perkins (Joyce), Kenneth Satcher, Brice Satcher and Freddie Satcher all of Anniston, AL.  3 sisters; Martha Ann Perkins, Glory Ann Cook and Lula Mae Hampton all of Anniston, AL.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 granddaughters; Angel Grant and Baby Jones.  4 brothers; Emerson Perkins, Thomas Lee Perkins, Barry Wayne Perkins and Wesley Satcher, Jr.  A sister; Elaine Perkins-Tanner.

Memorial  Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. (2 P.M. EST) at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 1658 Lehman Avenue in Anniston, Alabama  36201 with Rev. Walter Solomon, officiating.
