Rev. Willie Glen Robertson, Sr., age 92, went home to be with the Lord  on Saturday, April 22,  2017 at approximately 9:10 a.m. at Lima Manor Nursing Facility here in Lima.

He was born on September 13, 1924 in Russellville, Alabama to the union of Walter Lee and Annie (Willingham) Robertson; both parents  preceded him in death.

Rev. Robertson worked for Terminal Service and Gold Meadow both in Lima, he also had a private Refuse Business.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Deliverance Temple of Joy.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 4 sons; Willie G. Robertson, Jr. (Vida) and Robert E. Robertson, Sr. (Meagan) both of Lima.  Ricky Robertson of Cincinnati, OH and Greg Foy (Yolanda) of Riviera, FL.  5 daughters; Rev. Doris R. Newby (Dennis), Charmaine Robertson, Sheila DeLoach and April Love (Rev. Jack) all of Lima.  Patricia Smith (Jerry) of Nashville, TN.  24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Cheryl Owens and Jacqueline Robertson.  A sister; Helen Clark. 4 brothers; Arthur Robertson, Tom Robertson, Hubbard Robertson and Andrew Robertson.  3 grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Christ Temple  with Bishop  Michael Cooper, Sr., officiating.

Visitation/wake Service will be on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 4-8 pm with the family present from 6-8 pm at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
