Mr. Willie Allen McKinsey, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at approximately 10:12  p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born on February 23, 1941 in Columbus, Georgia to John L. Wright, Sr. and Pecola Jones.  Both parents preceded him in death.

On June 13, 1978 he was united in holy matrimony to Barbara Sanders McKinsey, she preceded him in death on September 13, 2014.

He retired from the Pepsi Corporation where he worked in the maintenance department and as a Fork Lift Operator for over 30 years.  He was a member of Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member of the Usher Board and drove the Church Van.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Roosevelt Sanders and Drayvonte Godsey both of Lima.  3 daughters;  Angela McGraw (Clarence Watkins)  and Marcella Sanders (George Smith) both of Lima.  Ramona Mercer of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son:  David Sanders, 4 brothers; John Wright, David McKinsey, Edward McKinsey and Otis McKinsey, Sr.  2 sisters; Dorothy McKinsey and Betty Owens.

Home going services will be held on, Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1:00 a.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Toney, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
