William Lenard Jackson, age 72, passed from this life at approximately 6:47 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his residence in Lima.

He was born on February 9, 1950 in Florence, Alabama to Annie Sue Jackson; his mother preceded him in death.

Mr. Jackson retired from Ex-cello.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a daughter; Kashauna M. Lewis of Lima.  5 grandchildren, Alexis Walton, Jermaine Daniel, Lavare Daniel Jr., Jordan Daniel, Troy Pelletier Jr. A special granddaughter; Nevaeh Brown.  3 great-grandchildren; Brooklyn Austin, Brazil Banks and Darius Bailey Jr. 3 sisters; Ruth Anderson and Carolyn Mixon (Lloyd) both of Florence, AL.  Alice Jackson (Eugene) of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister; Elizabeth A. Jackson.

Home going services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  with Rev. James Bolling, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, March 4,  2022 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.

Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery
