Obituary

Willia Frances Napier, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at approximately 9:34 p.m. at Community Hospice of Texas in Burleson, Texas.

She was born on June 25, 1942 in Florence, Alabama to John Elliott and Aree Florence Martin Napier, both parents preceded her in death.

Willia was very active in the Lima Community; she obtained an associate's degree in business administration.  She was a member of the Lima City Council representing the 5th Ward for over 10 years.   Frances served as secretary for the Head Start Program and was the accountant for Lima Allen County Community Action Commission.  She served as a member of the Lima City School Board and was the treasurer of Helping Hands Credit Union and a manager of Church Women United.  She was also involved in the Allen County Welfare rights organization, Cub and Girls Scout troops, NAACP, League of Women Voters and served on the State Social Service Council.

She was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church for many years.  She was previously employed at Hills Department Store and Wal-Mart.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons; Tony L. Savage (Juanita) of Lima.  Mark H. Savage (Janice) of Crowley, TX and  John O. Napier, Sr. of Columbus, OH.  2 daughters;  Reeda J. Savage of Columbus, OH and Kim R. Napier of Lima.  12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  5 brothers;  Albert O. Napier (Gloria) and Elliott Napier (Linda) both of Saginaw, MI.  Dawayne A. Napier (Annie) of Lima.  Glenn F. Napier of Columbus, OH and Victor Napier (Bonnie) Atlanta, GA.  A sister; Bobbie Jean Skipworth of Lima.  An aunt; Esther M. Napier of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Rhonda Napier.  A grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Home going services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Philippian Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. B. LaMont Monford, Sr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.
