Ms. Wendy Latrece Jeffers, age 39, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 15, 2017 at approximately 12:00 p.m. at her residence in Lima.

She was born on August 7, 1977 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Willie L. and Chloe I. (Watson) Jeffers; both parents survive in Lima.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit.  She was a member of New Life Church International in Lima. Wendy was a Registered Nurse for 16 years and worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN for the last 3 years.  She was a graduate of Shawnee High School in 1995, she received her LPN from Rhodes State College in 2000 and her RN License from Rhodes State College in 2003.

Besides her loving parents, Wendy leaves to cherish her precious memory her companion; Jerry Cumbus, the father of Nissium and Karyn.  2 sons;  Ira Collier, Jr. and Nissium Cumbus both of Lima.  4 daughters;  Cachay Jeffers, Preshus Lowe, Sarah Breaston and Karyn Cumbus all of Lima.  4 brothers; Marvin Ward of Atlanta, GA.  Marc Taylor of Sylvania, GA., Octavian Jeffers (Heather) of Rome, GA and Arimis Jeffers of Lima.  3 sisters; Sharon Johnson, Dawn Smith and Ashley Brit all of Lima.  A sister-friend since childhood; Elena Duncan of Lima.  A special friend; Hope White of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother; Courtney L. Smith.

Home going services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at New Life Church International with Rev. Darnell Williams, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
