Mr. Walter Lee Jones, age 64, passed from this life on Friday, May 6, 2022 at his residence in Lima, OH.

He was born on April 3, 1958 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Walter Mathis and Juanita (Upshaw) Jones.  His parents preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  Walter was an employee of the United States Postal Services.  He also worked at Marcos Bar for many years.  Walter was a member of AMVETS Post, American Legion, and VFW Local.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory one son; Dion M. Jones of Cincinatti, OH. A brother; Willie J. (Diane) Jones of Lima, OH.  3 sisters; Mary (Thomas) McCohn of Columbus, OH; Sherri (Eric) Jones; and Pamela (Greg) Reynolds of Lima, OH.  A host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son; Alexander Jones; a daughter; Kiara Jones; and a brother; Keith Jones.

Home going services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. David Kelly officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
