Virno Gene Bryant Obituary

Virno Gene Bryant, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  She was born on July 30, 1953, in Jonestown, Mississippi to Johnnie Rhodes and Ann Woodley.  Both parents preceded her in death.  On March 17, 2014, she married Jerry Bryant who survives in Dayton, Ohio.

Virno retired from Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, OH.  She was a member of Jehovah's Witness.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  4 children:  Demetrius Woodley of South Dakota; Stanley Felton of Lima, Ohio; Wise Lafelli of Dayton, Ohio; and Michael Felton of Lima, Ohio.  2 brothers:  William "Rock" Woodley and Allen Madlock.  6 sisters:  Betty Youngblood; Eva Hudson; Jean Williams; Mary Woodley; Ruby Rhodes; and Sandra "Pee-wee" Rhodes.  16 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Virno is preceded in death by Daisy Coleman; Johnny Madlock; Donna Woodley; and Bobbie Rhodes.

Visitation/Wake services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home.
