Ms. Vergie Lee, age 94, passed from this life on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at approximately 8:48 p. m. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on April 21, 1927 in Wilcox County-Camden, Alabama to Sylvester and Anna (McDole) Lee; both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Lee was a member of Jesus Way Ministries in Lima.  She was a Homemaker who will be truly missed by her family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons; David L. Taylor of Atmore, AL.  Calvin A. Lee of Mobile, AL. and Pastor Alvin E. Lee (Dorett) of Lima.  A daughter; Linda Rogers of Mobile, AL.  8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Corrine Gulley.  Sister-in-law; Ernestine Lee. 3 brothers; Berry Lee, Sandy Lee and Willie B. Lee.  3 grandchildren.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Interment:  Whispering Pines Cemetery in Whistler, Alabama
