Mrs. Vanessa A.  Carter, age 62, passed from this life on Friday, March 10, 2017 at approximately 8:22 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born in Lima, Ohio  to the union of J. C. and Mae Frances (Allen) Cobb; both parents  preceded her in death.

On October 19, 1998 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Willie Buck Carter who preceded her in death on June 21, 2001.

She was formerly employed at Trim Trends in Spencerville, Ohio.  She was a member of Grace Church Worldwide Ministries.  Vanessa loved children, she loved to cook, laugh, and doing crossword puzzles, reading  and enjoying life.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons of the heart; Alrenzo Cobb and Robert Carter both of Lima.  Thomas Thompson of Atlanta, GA.  A daughter of the heart; Kenyatta M. Carter of Augusta, GA. 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild of the heart. 3 brothers; Thomas B. Cobb, Kenneth L. Cobb and James C. Cobb all of Lima.  Sisters; Theresa A. "Cookie"  Allen (Earl Gunsby), Sharon "Denise" Cobbs, Onedia M. Cobb, Monica G. Carter, Tracey J. Cobb and Latosha V. Cobb all of Lima.

She was preceded in death by a brother; Curtis C. Cobb.
