Obituary of Troy Monroe Cook, Jr.

Troy Monroe Cook, Jr., age 77, transitioned from this life on Monday, December 4, 2023 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.  He was born on August 1, 1946 to Troy Monroe and Estella (Morris) Cook, Sr.  Both parents preceded him in death.

Troy retired from Ford Motor Company.  He was a member of UAW Local #1219.  He loved fishing, going to the casino and steak at the Golden Coral.  He was an enthusiastic fan of The Ohio State University and Cleveland Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 2 sons:  Michael A. Cook and Marlon T. Cook, both of Lima, OH.  1 daughter: Tonia L. (Craig) Tolbert-Moore Baillargeon of Columbus, OH.  18 grandchildren.  A host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by a brother:  Eugene Cook and a sister: Carolyn Cook.

Home Going Services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Greater Christ Temple with Elder Michael Cooper, II officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, also at the church.

Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
