Obituary of Tra'Varus Darnell Thompson

Tra'Varus Darnell Thompson, age 38, passed from this life on Friday, March 29, 2024, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.  He was born on August 17, 1985 in Lima, Ohio to Byng Parsons and Linda (Thompson) Scott (Okechukawu Nwoke).  His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Lima, Ohio.

Tra'Varus was a born-again Christian, who went home to live with the Lord. Tra'Varus was a Charmer he was kind , enjoyable  and had a big heart and  he loved to cook.

He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sisters:  Courtney of TX and Tiarra of MN.  8 brothers:  Shannon; Eriq; Henry, Michael, and Travis; all of Lima OH; Benjamin of MN; Byng of Indianapolis; and Brian of Toledo. A longtime companion: Brandi Lasenby.  He enjoyed being with his  nieces, nephews, Special  Aunties Dolly and Cordelia Thompson and  Jacqueline (Tobias) Griffin , and  other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather: Shannon (Mannie) Scott, Sr. who raised him and by his grandmother and father: Augusta Thompson and Tate Thompson Jr.

Home Going Services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
