Ms. Tonya Yvonne Williams Battle, age 50, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2015 at approximately 8:07 p.m. at Lima Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on May 29, 1964 in Pittsview, Alabama to the union of James and Ella H.  Williams Battle, Sr.  Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Lima.

Ms. Battle was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides her loving mother she leaves to cherish her precious memory; a son; Deontray L. Battle of Lima. A  daughter; Natoya Y. Williams of Lima.  Four grandchildren; Ny'Aisa Y. Godsey, Malachi Battle, Dashon Williams and Nashia Battle.  Two brothers; Tommy Battle and Marline Battle, Sr. (Latanya) both of Lima.  A sister; Mandy Battle of Lima.  A sister-in-law; Kimberly Davis Battle  of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Edna Marion and a brother; James Battle, Jr.
