Mr. Timothy Wayne Eckerson, age 53, passed from this life on Monday, January 31, 2022 at approximately 2:25 p.m. at Lima Manor Nursing Home.

He was born on November 19, 1968 in Florence, Alabama to the union of Johnny Williams Eckerson, Sr. and Lillie Bell Irons; both parents preceded him in death.

Timothy worked in construction for the Trisko Construction Company.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 7 brothers; John W. Irons, Jr. of Texas.  Derrick E. Irons (Angie)  and Jeremy Benton both of Columbus, OH.  Luther Benton, Jr. (Corey), Cecil Benton and Paul Ward, Jr. all of Lima.  Marcus Benton of Milwaukee, WI. 2 sisters;  Roslyn M. Burton (Pua) of Lima. Dyamela "Tenel" Youmans of College Park, GA. Special Aunts; Mellon Scott, Samilla Casey and Mellitie Thompson.  Special Mothers of the heart; Bobbie Benton and Willa Dean Miles.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; Luther Benton, Sr.
