Obituary of Thomas Lee Walton

Thomas Lee "TL" Walton, age 72, passed on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 12:47 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, OH.  He was born on January 20, 1952, to Cread and Virginia (King) Walton, Sr. in Lima, OH.  His parents preceded him in death.

Thomas was employed at Trinity Industries. He enjoyed fishing, "napping", cooking, "partying", and he was everyone's favorite.  He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also very fond of his nieces and nephews.  Thomas was a good friend to all.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 5 sons: Antoine (Nicole) L. Roberson; Thomas "Marty" L. Walton; Jamitrius L. Bankston; Caysen J. Walton, all of Lima, OH.  1 daughter: Clarinth L. "Starr" Walton of Lima, OH.  15 Grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren.  5 Brothers:  Lewis "ST" (Irma) Walton and Daniel Walton, both of Lima, OH; Cread Walton, Jr. of Detroit, MI and Jeff Thurmond of FL.  2 sisters: Mary (Jim) O. Smith of Lima, OH, and Lou Catherine Powell of Detroit, MI.

He is preceded in death by a baby son, Joshua T. Walton; a brother:  Odell Walton; and a sister:  Virginia Marshall.

Home Going Services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David Kelly officiating.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. also at the church.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
