Thomas Louis Johnson went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2014 at approximately 9:04 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was 65 years old.

Mr. Johnson was born on July 17, 1949 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the union of Tommy James and Rena I. Jones Johnson; both parents preceded him in death.

On August 2, 1975 he was united in holy matrimony to Deborah J. Bailey Johnson. She survives him in Lima.

Mr. Johnson retired as a machine operator at Dana Corporation after over 18 years of service.  He was a member of Grace Church Worldwide Ministries, where he served on the Usher Board, as well as UAW Local #1765.

Aside from his loving wife Deborah he leaves to cherish his precious memory a daughter; Jeanine A. Johnson (Jamil) Smith of Brooklyn, NY; a brother, Larry V. Johnson (Beverly); and a sister; Clemmie M. Johnson, both of Lima, a brother-in-law; Herman J. Bailey (Lucy) of Troy, Ohio; an adopted brother, Leondra Johnson of Lima, an aunt; Rosa Naylor; an uncle, Mose Jones of Town Creek, AL, and special cousins, Art West and Carl Jones, both of Lima, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Percy Johnson and a sister, Alice C. Johnson-Allison.
