Mr. Tavares Antjuan Clay,  age 37, passed from this life on Monday, June 7, 2021 at approximately  6:44 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

He was born on August 10, 1983 in Lima, Ohio.  He is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Clay and father, Hollis Daniels (Jessica) of Lima.

Tavares was a 2001 graduate of Lima Senior High School where he was a member of the basketball team earning several awards.  He previously worked with Master Maintenance, in Lima.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 6 brothers; Jeremy Clay of Lima.  Drake Daniels and Dakota Dunlap both of Findlay, OH.  Trent Daniels, Chris (Autumn) and Josh Gammon both of Kenton, OH.  2 sisters; Ashley Clay and Destiny Daniels both of Lima.  Nephews and nieces; LaMarion, Jar'vez, Azarion, Dalante, Daxton Jay'lah, Ja'nye, Jaliyah, Brielle, Baisley.  Paternal grandfather; William B. Campbell.  A host of special cousins, relatives and friends, especially Chris Youtsey and Damien Sharkey.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; William B. and Willie Ruth Clay, paternal grandmother; Carrie M. Coats. A nephew; Daleel Callahan.

Home Going Services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Cleven Jones, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., the family will be present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.
