Susie A. McGee-Maravilla, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Northwestern Prentice Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

She was born on January 14, 1930 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Edgar Leroy and Grace Irene Stewart McGee.  Both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Maravilla was a retired Bookkeeper for J & E Electric and Green 5 Transportation.  She was a former member of Second Baptist Church.  She loved playing the Organ, Crocheting and she loved Casino's.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 4 sons; Lawrence L. Gomez (Maria), Anthony A. Gomez (Maria) and Ramcoomar Samaroo  of Chicago, Illinois.  Rajkumar Samaroo (Lana) of Palm Dale, California.  2 daughters;  Lola K. Gomez of Van Wert, Ohio and Lynn C. Samaroo of Chicago, Illinois. 22 grandchidren, 71 great grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.  A sister; Elizabeth Iona Hamilton of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law; Floyd E. Hamilton and a step-brother; Timothy McGee.

Home going services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Tony Joiner, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
