Mr. Steven J. Smith, age 66, passed from this life on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at approximately 6:00 p.m. at his residence in Ft. Jennings, Ohio.

He was born on November 10, 1955 to Virgil M. and Rosa M. (Bergher) Smith who preceded him in death.

On July 15, 1976 he was united in holy matrimony to Mischelle A. France, who survives in Fort Jennings.

He was a member of Vaughnsville Methodist Church.  He is also a United States Army Veteran.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 daughters: Cristi (David) Breaston of Ft. Jennings, OH and Leyna Phillips of Vaughnsville, OH.  5 grandchildren.  2 brothers:  Jeff Smith of Findlay, OH and Wayne (Mary) Smith of Little Rock, AR.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Gary D. Smith.  2 sisters: Brenda K. Smith and Sally R. Hutchinson.
