Obituary of Steven Marquese Smith

Mr. Steven M. Smith, age 41, passed from this life on Sunday, July 16, 2023 in Lima, Ohio.  He was born on May 9, 1982 in Lima, Ohio to Steven F. and Verna (Smith) Wash.  Both parents survive him in Lima, Ohio.

Steven was a member of Grace Life Church.  He was employed at Rudolph's Foods. He loved to be around his family.

Besides his loving parents, he leaves to cherish his precious memory 4 children: Jamar O'Neal of Louisville, KY; Nylan Smith of Columbus, OH; Nijaea Amerson and Ajanae Cotton both of Lima, OH. 1 sister: Lacelia Smith and 1 brother: Jireh Wash, both of Lima, OH. A host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son: Tir' Yuian Ti'ly Smith.  Maternal grandparents Alma Smith and Louis C. Smith and paternal grandparents Bessie Shadwick and Willie Smith.

Home going services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:00 am at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Wash officiating.

Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
