Mrs. Roxanne Jean Petty, age 62, passed from this life on Friday, September 5,  2025, at approximately 1:48 p.m. at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born on May 20, 1963 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Russell and Frances Jean(Bowles) Mitchell, Sr.  Both parents preceded her in death.

On July 19, 2008  she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Arthur Petty who survives in Lima, Ohio.

Mrs. Petty was retired.  She was a member of Saviors Grace Ministries.

Besides her loving husband Arthur she leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Emon A. Petty of Lima, OH.  3 daughers; Cierra Sims (Shakir) of Tampa, FL.  Alexis Mitchell and Danielle R. Stephenson both of Lima, OH.  5 grandchildren.  A brother; Russell Mitchell, Jr. of Lima, OH.  4 sisters; Rochelle Freeman of Dallas, TX, Rev. Claytonia Logan and Lisa Donnal both of Lima, OH and Robin Clay (David) of South Carolina.  2 special nieces; Adreana Irons (Ronnie) of Texas and Nish Mitchell. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son; Brandon R. Stephenson.

Services will be held Friday, September 26, 2025  at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.,  with Rev. Arnold Manley, officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday,  September 26, 2025  at 10:00 until time of services also at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home.
