Mrs. Rose Marie Tibbs, age 65, passed from this life on July 12, 2017 at approximately 4:58 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born on June 11, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to Willie Smith, Sr. and Ruth Eleanor Kirkman; her mother is deceased and her father survives in Lima, Ohio.

On March 13, 1990 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Willie H. Tibbs who preceded her in death on June 5, 2008.

Mrs. Tibbs was a homemaker.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  She loved her coffee and Bingo.  She loved her family and was a friend to many.

Besides her loving father she leaves to cherish her precious memory 4 daughters; Diana Brown (Joe L. Owens) of Desoto, TX.  Carolyn Green (Kelvin), Christina Luster (Alonzo, III) and Ebony S. Lowe (Maurio, II) all of Lima.  2 brothers; Willie Smith, Jr. (Pam) of Columbia, South Carolina and David smith of Lima..  3 sisters; Rita Wall (George) and Lynn Smith both of Lima. SteFani Smith of Columbus, OH.  16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Gloria Jean Smith and Donna Jean Smith.  2 brothers; Edward Smith and Glen Smith.
