Ronald Eugene (Moe) Scales, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at approximately 12:10 a.m., at Carecore Nursing Home.

He was born in Lima, Ohio on May 9, 1955 to the union of Walter Thomas and Patricia Ann (Carr) Scales, both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Scales accepted Christ at an early age. He liked listening to 'Good Morning Gospel' on Sunday mornings as well as fishing, swimming, and relaxing at home watching movies.  Ronnie loved to draw.  He was a very good artist and could draw just about anything, portraits, landscapes, and still life.

Left to cherish his precious memory is his only son, Ronald A. (Nellie) Scales of Lima; four sisters, Jocelyn D. (Clarence) White, Kelli L. Scales, and Dana K. (Reggie) Scales, all of Lima and Melanie D. (Timothy) Ulmer, of Willingboro, NJ; two brothers, Charles D. Scales Sr. and Thomas A. Scales, both of Lima; seven nieces, eight nephews, thirteen great-nieces, and fourteen great-nephews, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, his beloved brother and sister, Joseph A. Scales and Renee P. Scales and nephew Prince Logan T. Scales.

Visitation and wake services will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Jones-Clark Funeral Home in Lima with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.
