Robert Bradford Williams Obituary

Robert Bradford Williams, age 82, passed away on Thursday. September 5, 2024, at 4:42 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.  He was born on June 20, 1942, to Robert Lee and Katherine (Banks) Williams in Lima, Ohio.  Both parents preceded him in death.

Robert was a machinist at the Naval Shipyard in San Diego, California.  He was a member of Second Baptist Church.  To Robert, no one was a stranger.  He would pray with them for salvation and lay hands on the sick.  He loved Jesus and spoke of him all the time.  He loved running to stay in shape.  He would go to Metro Park late in the night. The park rangers knew him. He had created his own business, Omega Family Services, and worked in it up to his passing.

He leaves to cherish his memory: 5 sons:  Keith (Ayana) Williams of New Orleans, LA; Rossi Youngblood of San Diego, CA; Lamar Marshall and David Marshall of Lima, OH; and Alex (Nadja) Townsend of Columbus, OH.  2 daughters:  Toni Youngblood of San Diego, CA and Vivian Marshall of Columbus, OH.  3 sisters:  Nancy Fleming of Staton Island, NY; Cassandra Bushner of Lima, OH; and Josephine Marchant of Ft. Pierce, FL.  23 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by a son: William Youngblood and a sister:  Phyllis J. Williams.

Home Going Services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Henderson officiating.

Visitation/Wake Services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.
