Mr. Rickie Gene Evans, Sr., age  68 , passed from this life on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at approximately 2:19 p.m. at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

He was born on December 20, 1947 in Lima, Ohio to Albert and Frances (Downton) Evans, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Evans worked at U.S. Metalcraft in Delphos, Ohio.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons;  Casey E. Evans (Rushelle) and Rickie G. Evans, Jr. both of Lima. 2 daughters;  Angela Jones (Onyale) of Columbus, Ohio and Ericka Evans of Lima. 6 grandchildren.  5 brothers; Greg Evans, David Evans, (Gloria) Anthony Evans (Esther), Glenn Evans (Angela) and Tim Evans (Debra).  4 sisters;  Debra Austin, Cheryl Sims (Melvin),  Priscilla Evans and Kimberly Darden.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers;  Albert Evans and Dwayne Evans and a sister;  Alyce Evans Henry.

Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held at 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.
