Mr. Richard Walker, age 74, passed from this life on Friday, March 12, 2021 at approximately 12:17 p.m. at Care Core of Lima.

He was born on November 11, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the union of James Henry and Martha Louise Thomas Walker, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Walker retired from Sheller Globe Company.  He loved Basketball and he loved the Friendly Center in Toledo where he coached.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 4 children; Stephanie Johnson and Brooke Walker both of Toledo, OH.  Corey Smith and Angela Smith both of Lima. 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  A brother; Larry Walker (Beatrice) and a sister; Diane Walker both of Lima. A nephew; Lamar Hershell of Lima.  3 nieces; Teresa Johnson (Tyrone) of Saginaw, MI.  Tiffany Herring of Singapore and LaDasha Herring of Lima.  A host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother; James Henry Walker, Jr.

Home going services will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Tony Joiner, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
