Obituary of Richard Ricardo Bailey

Mr. Richard Ricardo Bailey, age 73, transitioned from this life on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at St. Rita's Hospital. He was born on July 9, 1950 to Emerson and Louise (Williams) Bailey in Detroit, Michigan.  Both parents preceded him in death.

Richard was a taxi driver for the Checker Taxi Company.  He enjoyed driving and traveling.

He leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters:  Sonya Robinson-Ingram of Clinton Township, MI and Ebony Bailey and Pandora Ingram of Detroit, MI.  A sister:  Jewell Henry of Ecorse, MI and a brother:  Ronald Bailey of Detroit, MI.  A host of relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, DeNiro Bailey; brother, Arnold Bailey; and sisters:  Katie McPhaul and Elizabeth Bailey.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
