Mrs. Rena Lynn Chukes, age 62, passed from this life on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at her residence in Lima.

She was born on April 20, 1954 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Junior Germany and Ruth (Johnson) Worley; both parents preceded her in death.

She was married to K. C. Chukes who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Chukes was a Homemaker and a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church.  She was also a former Eastern Star.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son:  Markey L. Chukes (Michelle) of Lima. A daughter:  Cornelia Grace Chukes (Myron Dawson) of Lima.  6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  3 brothers: Shelden Horace of Salt Lake City, Utah.  Steven Jackson, Jr. and Gary Jackson both of Lima.  4 sisters:  Dorothy Worley, Jennifer Jackson, Evelyn Dukes (Jimmy) and Regina Jackson all of Lima.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Philippian Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. B. LaMont  Monford, Sr., officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
