Mrs. Phoebe Beatrice Williams, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She was born on August 18, 1925 in Florence, Alabama  to the union of Granvel and Julia (Bryant) Kelley; both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Leand Williams in 1950; he preceded her in death on December 1, 1993.

Mrs. Williams worked as a supervisor at Lutheran Social Services; she was also a cook at the Argonne and Holiday Inn.  She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she sung in the Sanctuary Mass Choir, she was a member of the Mission Circle, worked on the kitchen committee and the Baptism Committee.  She was a former member of the Fidelity Choir and Knights of Pythian.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory; 2 sons;  Otis T. Williams of Lima and Leonard Williams (Daphne) of Saginaw, Michigan.  5 daughters; Ella L. Williams, Annie B. Jones, Vivian Scott and Veronica McLaurin (Timothy) all of Lima.  Pastor Genevieve Benson of Saginaw, Michigan.  A son of the Heart; William Towsey (Mildred) of Lima.  18 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  A sister; Annie Shelby of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews , other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Ocea Gray.  6 brothers;  Rev. Eddie Kelley, Elder Bruce Kelley, Jimmy Kelley, Rev. William Kelley, Lynn Finner, Ben Kelley.  3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018  at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Cleven Jones,  officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday,  January 23, 2018  from 4:00 p.m.  to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.
