Mrs. Patty Lee Fuqua, age 75, passed from this life on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at approximately 2:15 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

She was born on April 3, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio to Patrick and Lilly B. (Owens) Luckett; both parents preceded her in death.

On July 18, 1973 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Earl J. Fuqua; he survives in Lima, Ohio.

Mrs. Fuqua retired from General Motors Corporation. She was a member of Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church and the U.A.W. Local #211.

Besides her loving husband Earl, she leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Shane M. Fuqua of Lima.  2 daughters; Shawna M. Fuqua of Columbus, OH and Shalonda M. Fuqua of Lima.  8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  2 brothers; James O. Luckett of Ft. Worth, TX and Patrick Luckett of Springfield, Ohio.  A sister; Ann Cherry (Rob) of Springfield, OH. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death a son; Shawn M. Fuqua.  4 sisters; Lillie M. White, Rosie Luckett, Naomi Luckett and Joyce Ridley.

Home Going Services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. James Bolling, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at the Church.

Interment:  Woodlawn  Cemetery
