Ms. Paquita Rochelle Burns, age 57, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2015 at approximately 4:00 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Cario, Illinois on June 19, 1958 to Mose and Shirley Young Reed, both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Burns was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a Homemaker who will truly be missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a close friend and companion; Joe J. Walker of Lima.  4 sons;  Carlton C. Burns (Falisha), Demond Burns (Samantha), Darzell Burns and James L. Bolden, III all of Lima.  1 daughter; Nikita Burns of Columbus, Ohio. 34 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 4 brothers; Lamonia Barksdale, Sr.  (Janice) of Peoria, IL.  Cranston Young, Sr. (Connie), Rodney Reed and Andre Reed (Kelly) all of Lima, Ohio.  3 sisters; Tina Sessoms (Grady) of Lynchburg, VA.  Toni Wortham and LaTausha Ward (Willie) both of Mobile, AL.

Home Going services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Arnold Manley, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m .
