Mr. Oscar T. Jones, age 65, passed from this life on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at approximately 3:30 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems in Lima.

He was born on May 16, 1956 in Lima, Ohio to union of Ebrana and Lucille (Liles) Jones, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death. A special Aunt who raised him; Ella M. Brown of Lima.

On June 28, 1983 he was united in holy matrimony to Lillian Jones, she survives in Lima.

Mr. Jones worked as a machine operator at Graham Packaging Manufacturer.  He was a member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.  He loved lifting weights and held several World records.  He loved to work on cars and houses and he loved his sports including OSU. He never met a stranger, he loved everyone.

Besides his loving wife Lillian he leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Oscar Williams (Chanda) of Lima and Andre Williams (Shoron) of Las Vegas, NV.  3 daughters; Theresa Williams of Florida.  Tameka Roddy of Lima and Deidra Jones of Ft. Wayne, IN. 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  A sister; Dr. Viola Mitchell-Clay of Warner Robbins, GA.  3 brothers-in-law; Bishop Evans, Otis Evans and James White (Sabrina).  3 sisters-in-law; Angela Davis (Greg), Beatrice Davis and Grace Cash. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother; Ebrana Jones, Jr.  A sister; Louise Smith.  Mother-in-law; Gloria White. 2 brothers-in-law: Walter Clay and Eugene Boswell.  A son-in-law; Nathaniel Roddy.  2 sisters-in-law; Clara Davison and Diane Davis.

Home going services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. C. M. Manley, officiating and Rev. Arnold Manley, eulogizing.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. also at the Church.

Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
