Ms. Neotha Paden, age 95, went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2024, at approximately 8:55 am, at her residence in Lima, surrounded by her loved ones.
Neotha was born on February 8, 1929, in Jakin, Georgia, to the Union of Ernest and Chaney (Clark) Lane, Sr. Both parents preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her niece Georgie Williamson, who acted as her companion and caretaker in her final days. Her niece Gwendolen R. Lane-Harvey, who was her personal cook. Her nieces Lessie Barnes and Kylen Lane-Harvey, who helped with caretaking, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and close friends.
