Mr. Nathaniel Lamar Bankston III

Mr. Nathaniel Lamar Bankston III, age 53 passed from this life on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on December 29th, 1970, in Lima, Ohio to Nathaniel L. and Joyce A. (Williamson) Bankston, Jr. Both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Bankston loved the Lord and gave his life to Christ at an early age. He loved to sing and loved football. He was a die-hard Ohio State football fan. He was a graduate of Lima Senior High.

On August 16th, 1997, he was united in holy matrimony to Melinda F. Koger, who survives in Lima, Ohio.

Mr. Bankston was employed by Westlake Chemicals.

Besides his loving wife Melinda, he leaves to cherish his precious memory; (2) daughters Ebony V, Bankston of Fort Wayne, In. Natesha R. Bankston of Akron, Ohio. (2) sons Nathaniel L. Bankston IV of Lima, Ohio and Keonte D. Bankston of Columbus, Ohio.

(2) Bonus Sons Javon J. Wright and Devonte M. (Tierra) Wright both of Columbus, Ohio.

(2) Sisters: Pamela Bankston and Michelle Bankston both of Lima, Ohio A special sister: Erika Chambers of Lima, Ohio. (10) Grandchildren.

Stepmother: Claudean Peggy Bankston of Lima, Ohio. A stepbrother of lima, Ohio and a stepsister of Columbus, Ohio.

Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Mr. Bankston was preceded in death by (2) grandchildren De'Arjae & Dakota Bankston, Maternal grandparents: McKinley and Lillie Williamson, and Paternal grandparents: Nathaniel L. and Corene Bankston Sr.

Homegoing service will be held at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Claytonia Logan officiating. Service will be August 31st, 2024, at 11am.
