Mildred Jean Vaughn Obituary

Mildred Jean Vaughn, age 82, transitioned from this life on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Toledo, Toledo, Ohio.  She was born on October 13, 1941 in Florence, Alabama to Albert and Altrue Harrison.  Both parents preceded her in death.

She was married to Cleo "Chico" Vaughn who preceded her in death.

Mildred was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church.  She retired from Riverside Hospital in Toledo, OH with over 30 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, 3 children:  Mark A. (Mary) Vaughn of Toledo, OH; Thomas E. (Pamela) Vaughn of Newark, DE; and Kenneth M. Vaughn of Lima, OH.  13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  3 special sons:  Brian Franklin of Lima, OH; Robert Henderson of Toledo, OH; and Darryl Brown of Columbus, OH.  4 sisters:  Nora L. Shine; Mary L. Petty; and Vivian Cunningham, all of Lima, OH.  Caregivers Kelsey Thompson and Ann-Tachi Armstrong.  A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter:  Kimberli A. Vaughn and a sister:  Ethel L. Brown.

Home Going Services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Smith of Chester, PA officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at Jones-Clark Funeral Home.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
