Ms. Merdine Martin, age 80, passed from this life on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.

She was born on August 9, 1944 in Carrollton, Mississippi  to Latin and Aladee (Hansborough) Martin, Sr. Both her parents preceded her in death.

Merdine was a Homemaker.  She watching Western TV shows and  being with family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son, Johnny Martin of Lima. 2 daughters; Glenda Ball and Maureen Ball both of Lima.  6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  A sister; Martha Whitfield of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Latin Martin, Jr. and Johnny Martin.  4 sisters; Vera Crowder, Minnie Webster, Mary Woods and Hattie Bell Forest.
