Obituary of Melvin "Blood"  Cregg Youngblood

Melvin "Blood" Cregg Youngblood, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 2:45 a.m. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, OH.  He was born on February 14, 1948, to Clarence and Gertha Lee (Roberson) Youngblood in Colbert County, AL.  Both parents preceded him in death.

Melvin was a veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 2 brothers:  Howard D. (Shirel) Youngblood, of Lima, OH, and Benjamin T. (Tessie) Youngblood, of Florida. A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by a brother:  Isaac C. Youngblood.  2 sisters:  Betty J. Youngblood-Battle and Clara Roberson.

Home Going Services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Battle officiating.

Visitation/Wake Services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at the church.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
