Ms. Mary Lee Petty, age 80, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at approximately 1:04 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.

She was born on October 21, 1944   in Florence, Alabama  to Albert and Altrue (Houston) Harrison.  Both her parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Petty retired from St. Rita's Medical Center after 40 years of service working in the Housekeeping Department.  She was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church and she loved to shop and loved her family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a daughter; Melissa A. Petty of Columbus, OH.  A niece whom she raised:  Jasmine and Ryan Pitts of Lima. 2 grandchildren; Jalisa Freeman (Demetrius) and Lt. Jalen Glenn both of Columbus, OH and 2 great-grandchildren; Ja`sean Freeman and Malisse Freeman. 2 sisters; Nora L. Shine and Vivian Cunningham both of Lima.  3 sisters of the heart; Geraldine Green (Willie), Willa Miles (Jake) and Clara McLin all of Lima.  2 best friends; Jesse Goins of Lima and Paula Pea of Sandusky, OH.   A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Ethel Lee Brown and Mildred Jean Vaughn. 3 brother-in-laws; James Brown, Hubert Shine and Cleo Vaughn all whom she loved dearly.

Home Going Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025  at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025  at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
