Mrs. Mary Magdalene Francis, age 84, died peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2017 at approximately 5:50 a.m. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima.

Mrs. Francis was born on April 24, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to the union of Aaron and Gertrude (Cummings) Bethel; both parents preceded her in death.

On November 4, 1965 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Herman A. Francis who preceded her in death on June 25, 1994.

Mrs. Francis was a Homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a daughter; Marie Francis Brown (Leora) of Stone Mountain, Georgia. A brother;  Lionel Bethel (Mary) of Bronx, New York and a sister:  Doris Floyd of Brooklyn, New York.  A grandson:  Jon Kirklen, Jr. (Dyahan) of Stone Mountain, GA.  2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son:  Gilbert M. Francis and a sister; Margaret Bethel.

Services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with  Minister Colin Deitsch, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held at 3:00 p.m. until time of services on Monday, February 20, 2017 also at the Funeral Home.
