Marva Jean (Talmadge) Smith- Ramsey was born in Fostoria, Ohio on August 29th, 1938 to the union of Samuel and Charlotte Oglesby Talmadge; both parents preceded her in death.  She was 76 years old at the time she was called home on July 24th at 5:54 pm at St. Rita's Hospital. She was a residence of the Lima Towers for 5 years.

Marva was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Fostoria, Ohio.  Marva was previously employed by Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio, Good Shepherd Nursing home in Fostoria, Ohio, and later serving several years as a private Duty Care Giver until retirement.

Marva is survived by one son Darnell Smith of Lima.  Four daughters: Sheila Drewry-Payne of New York, New York.   Debra (Smith) Johnson and  Fonda Smith both of Atlanta, Georgia.  Pamela Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was blessed with; 11 Grandchildren and 18 Great-grandchildren and 2-Great-great grandchildren.  One brother;  Monty Talmadge of North Carolina, other relatives and friends.
