Mrs. Martha Louise Lyons, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at approximately 10:56 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born on February 1, 1939 in Florence, Alabama to union of Isaiah Ross and Josie L. Martin Springer. Her father preceded her in death and her mother Josie L. Martin Proby also preceded her in death.

She was married to Thomas Lyons who passed away on January 31, 2014.  She confessed Christ at an early age and taught Sunday school during her early years. She always loved to plant a garden, loved feeding the birds, loved horses, and watching old westerns on TV.  Martha loved fishing and just enjoying life to the fullest.  She also loved flowers and green house plants of all kinds.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her loving and caring nephew, LaBarron Springer of whom she treated like a son.  She is also survived by 2 step-daughters; Cynthia Renee (Greg) Jones of Lima and Bridgette Renee (Terrance) Mathis of Cleveland, Ohio. 5 step-grandsons, 3 step-granddaughters and 3 step-great grandchildren.  A brother; Johnny L. (Sheila) Springer of Lima.  She also leaves, Timmy Martin who had been faithfully by her side for many years, and Jimmie L (Shron) Battle of Milwaukee, WI who she also cherished as a son.  Norman Dean and Aaron  Williams of whom she cherished deeply A brother-in-law: Ellis (Catherine) Lyons of Dayton, Ohio, 2 sisters-in-law, Josephine Jennings of Columbus and Betty Jean (William)     Steward of Lima.  She also leaves her friends/mail carriers, Todd (Marcia), Pam, Darlene and Kim, also close companions Diane Robertson, Jada Meeks, Jennifer Cook, Bobby Morning, Joe Meeks, Isaac Ulmer, James and Joann Thomas. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Bill Springer and Wash (Joe) Edward Springer.
