Marketta Williams of Sheffield, Alabama, passed away on September 30, 2025 at the Columbus Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and joyful spirit touched everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, William and Janice Williams and a brother; Malcolm Williams.

Marketta is survived by her devoted children, Lov'e White, Ricarda Williams, and Raven Bryant-Williams; eight cherished grandchildren; and her dear siblings, Laretha Williams, Wendy Williams-Upshaw (Doug), and Marcus Williams (Jessica). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Marketta had a smile that could light up your day and a laugh that made everyone around her laugh, too. She will be remembered for her warmth, her sweet nature, and the love she shared so freely with others.

Her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and honor the beautiful person she was.
