Malinda was born on December 13, 1958, in Lima, Ohio, to Ike Lee Glenn and Ethel Lean (Jones) Glenn, both of whom preceded her in death.

Malinda dedicated many years of faithful service as a Corrections Officer with ACI–Oakwood Correctional Institution. She took great pride in her work and in serving others throughout her life.

Malinda was a faithful member of New Horizon Church, where she enjoyed fellowship and worship. She was also a devoted member of several organizations and took great pride in her involvement with the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABJA), the NAACP Lima Chapter, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #370.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her three children: LaTonya Glenn of Lima, Ohio; Domesha Williams of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Theomia Snyder of Louisville, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by two brothers, Frank Fisher and James C. Glenn (Vicky), both of Lima, Ohio; three sisters, Marilyn Glenn-Edwards and Wanita Glenn, both of Lima, Ohio, and Tawanda (Anthony) Johnson of Columbus, Georgia; and one special sister, Mosezella (Ricky) Shurelds of Lima, Ohio.
