Mr. Mack Louis Cooks, Sr., age 67, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at approximately 12:08 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on February 11, 1948 in Charleston, South Carolina to Aaron Manley and Lillian Darby, both parents are deceased.

He was married to Etta Mae Monroe in 1978; she     preceded him in death on May 21, 1992.

He retired from General Motors Corporation.  He was a member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory, 6 sons; Antonio Jackson of Columbus, OH.  Cisco Benjamin, Aaron Hutchins (Leslie), Delvon Johnson (Latoya) and Mack Cooks, Jr. all of Lima. Damanion Carter of Ft. Wayne, IN.  8 daughters:  Olivia Washington of Atlanta, GA.  Audra Cooks, Lore Cooks,   Sharma Cooks, Ashley Turner and Wendy Turner all of Lima.     Tyron Shears of Charleston, S.C. and Ellayshia Cooks of    Columbus, OH.  30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  5 brothers; Aaron Manley, Jr. and Deacon Manley both of New York.  Glascow Darby of Charleston, S.C., Arthur Darby of Mansfield, OH and Greg Darby of Lima.  A sister; Jullian Glover of Charleston, S.C.  A close companion; Rosalind Johnson of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 3 sons; James Johnson, Ricky Jackson and Derrick Turner. A great grandson; Da'Vione LaMar Shears. Paternal grandparents; Thomas and Willie M. Manley.
